Can I use my Insurance?
I do not bill insurance directly but I can accept FSA or HSA card payments. Additionally, I can provide you with a “superbill” that you can submit to your PPO insurance for reimbursement out-of-network.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice of cancellation by means of voicemail or email. If I do not receive adequate notice, the full session fee will be charged. If, however, we are able to reschedule within the same session cycle, no additional fees will be charged.
Where do I meet you?
If we are scheduled for an in-person session we will meet at my office in downtown Fullerton. I am located at 1370 N. Brea Blvd, Suite 234, Fullerton CA 92835. If we are set for an online appointment, you will receive an email with a link to our session and I will join you at the scheduled time. I look forward to meeting you.
Do you offer telehealth / online sessions?
I offer HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions through Simple Practice so that you can participate from the comforts of your own home.
How much does therapy cost?
Individual Sessions (45 to 50 minutes): $135-$165
Couples Sessions (60 to 75 minutes): $165-$200
Family Sessions (60 minutes): $165-$200
I offer a sliding scale and would love to explore additional options with you.
What can I expect from the first session?
It can be nerve-wracking to begin the therapy process. Our first session, also known as an intake session, is an opportunity for you to share what has brought you to therapy. I will share my approach and help you determine if we are a good fit. You can expect me to ask a variety of questions in order to get to know you more. Maybe you’re nervous, perhaps you’re excited, maybe you’re cautiously optimistic. Whatever you’re feeling is welcome and worth exploring in future sessions together.
Is your office ADA-compliant?
There is an ADA-compliant ramp from the parking lot to the building’s courtyard as well as a large elevator to reach my second floor office. If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Do you take credit cards?
All sessions are paid for via credit, debit, FSA, or HSA cards. I also accept payment through Zelle.
How often do I come to therapy? How long are the sessions?
Sessions are held at the same time each week. Depending on scheduling and availability, sessions can be rescheduled with advance notice. Regular sessions are essential to building the needed foundation for meaningful work.
